Description: The op. 2 piano trio and the two violin sonatas all date from around 1798 and are firmly in the Mozart-Haydn Classical tradition although with recognizable Polish finales (although the larghetto of the trio is rather more forward-looking). The piano quartet comes from 1805 (at 22:34, the longest work here) and certainly offers stylistic forerunners of early Romanticism. The Warsaw Trio, Anna Betley (viola).
