Description: Born in Bratislava, Kusser studied with Lully and worked extensively in Germany, England and Ireland. This third Kusser disc from Hungaroton brings two Serenatas for the Dublin Court where he spent the latter part of his career as Master of the Music. The former is a memorial celebration of William III (from somewhere between 1707 and 1714) while the latter - more striking and dramatic with much inventive musical scene painting - is yet another celebration of the 1713 Peace of Utrecht.
