Description: Eberl was generally considered to be equal to Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven by many contemporaries and his op. 1 piano sonata was published under Mozart's name for decades. These chamber works show the Mozart connection and, in the highly virtuosic Potpourri, the early Romanticism Eberl also can be credited with espousing. Trio van Hengel, Alida Schat (violin), Vappu Helasvuo (viola), Bart Aerbeydt (horn).
