Description: At least one of these Ouvertures has not been recorded before - the one in F for alto, tenor and bass chalumeaux - and it's a big, 28-minute piece with such movement titles as "Bergerie", "Le Desire", "Rejouissance" and "La Speranza amorosa"; sure to please Telemann collectors since both composers liked to use the lovely, veiled and dark sound of the chalumeau. But Graupner also was fond of using it for louder, more horn-like sounds, as you'll hear in some movements of the other Ouverture and the concerto. Ars Antiqua Austria; Gunar Letzbor. SACD hybrid
