Description: Now we're getting down to very rarely recorded Saint-Saëns: about two-thirds a disc of character pieces from the early (1855) Bagatelles to the last-published piano piece of the composer (the Feuillet), with the two largest single works the ten-minute Rhapsodie (lovely handing of folk themes) and the 12-minute Caprice, in which Saint-Saëns does for Gluck ballet music what many composers usually do for opera arias.
