Description: Rosenberg was the first Swedish composer to ditch Romantic Nationalism and pay attention to the various other movements current in Europe and so, in these works from the 1920s and 1940s, you'll find influences from Impressionism, neo-Classicism and expressionism with Bartók and Hindemith represented as well as Debussy in music which sounds a bit heterogenous in Plastika scener and the Suite (both from the 1920s) but which the composer has synthesized into his mature style of a tonally extended romanticism.
