Description: Don’t overdose on this delightful disc of pastoral enchantments from a handful of Flemish composers. These are short pieces so take three or four at a time and appreciate the different qualties of the two instruments and note how the oboe pieces (6 of the 13) can go perky now and then while the cor anglais remains wistful and bucolic. Bram Nolf (oboe, cor anglais), Hans Ryckelynck (piano).
