Description: Since many of Pleyel's trios and duos were intended as "accompanied" piano sonatas, it's not surprising that he reworked several of them as solo piano sonatas - as with everything here except for the two rondos (one of which is itself a transcription of the finale of a piano and violin sinfonia concertante. The recording was made in the Pleyel museum in his birthplace of Ruppersthal, Lower Austria on one of the last fortepianos to be manufactured while the composer was still alive.
