Description: Not related to Hyacinthe Jadin, this composer had a long and successful career, even and, perhaps, especially, during the revolutionary years, as an opera composer. His oboe/piano pieces all date from around 1814-16 and are in the brilliant salon style so popular in the Napoleonic era while the earlier (1794) two-hand piano sonata is reminiscent of Johann Christian Bach. Jacques Vandeville (oboe), Jean-Michel Louchard (piano), Christine Roualult (four hands). 2001 release.
