Description: At almost 14 minutes, the flute concerto here is clearly a sister to the famous D Major flute concerto so often recorded.  The rest of these concertos are in the 7-9-minute range, as is usual with this genre, but are characteristically all over the stylistic map; the A minor oboe concerto has been transmitted only in a version for violin but the melancholy-tinged work had to be meant for the oboe, as you'll find out here. La Stagione Frankfurt, Camerata Köln (Concerto polonaise); Michael Schneider.
