Description: Although these sonatas date from 1791, 1792 and 1795, they are still very much "accompanied" piano sonatas, with the cello doubling the bass line throughout and the flute (used only 13 times in Kozeluch's 60-odd trios). The most striking piece here may not be by Kozeluch even though he wrote a series of trios harmonizing Scotch folk music on commission from George Thomson, the same Edinburgh figure who commissioned Pleyel, Haydn and Beethoven for the same type of work; however, it was published under Kozeluch's name in 1799. No complaints about parsimoniousness here - Total time: 80:57! Monika Knoblochová (fortepiano), Jana Semerádová (flute), Hana Fleková (cello).
