Description: From the early Album (all but two of whose nine works come from 1844), full of Mendelssohnian/Schumannian early Romanticism to the dramatic and poetic Eglogues of 1861, nothing here sounds like the empty note-spinning Raff has been accused of in his piano pieces for more than a hundred years.
