Description: A monk associated with the Benedictine monastery at St. Gallen, Molitor published in 1683 18 motets for the six feasts of the Virgin Mary during the calendar year. Two five-part and one solo motet for each feast were accompanied by two violins and added continuo instruments and follow the model of the South German style while also being unique for being the only such works at St. Gallen to use instruments along with the voices.
