Description: Regarding that body of crass, vulgar, operatically crazed organ music which gripped Italy for much of the 19th century: here's more but with a difference. Fumagalli did a 180 as he grew older and gained experience with transalpine organs and organ music. This recital shows his development from the "circus" music of the earlier years to the Capriccio and sonata which are in a serious, pan-European style that would have been recognized in England, France and Germany. Giovanni Feltrin (organs of Chiesa di San Agostino, Treviso and or Abbazia de San Stafano, Isola della Scala).
