Description: These four "notebooks" make up a 1951 publication titled "Les jeunes au piano", piano pieces created for children. Mireille and Marianne are Tansman's daughters and the first "notebook", of easy pieces, is a group of animal portraits, followed by a slightly difficult second named after various Paris newspapers, a medium-level third of Parisian geographical locations and a more difficult fourth portraying celestial bodies.
